Bloody revolutions, or tyrannically oppressive police states, or world war, or some combination of all of the above. Sure, right now everything is comfy and safe, but we all see the writing on the wall. At least when the next phase comes we can finally exhale and get on with shit instead of waiting for the anvil to drop. Who knows, we might fare better than most. We wont have the deer in headlights shock like the rest, and we wont be tied down by marriage/debts/affiliations.

The unexpected variable in the whole scheme is the level of awareness and lack of trust in government institutions in the west. With zerohedge and reddit, its hard to find anyone under 30 that trusts anything the government says. When TPTB start rounding up meat into cattle cars to fight the wars they started, there might be a good chance that the meat are willing to take up arms against their masters than for them. Time will tell
